While intended as receive antennas, the ODPA-60180-40mm can be used as low powerradiators, with a maximum continuous power handling capability of 50W.

Tow connectors input permit simultaneous measurements for both horizontal andvertical polarizations for linearly polarized electromagnetic waves. By using anadditional 90-degree hybrid phase shifter, the antennas may be used to transmit orreceive circularly polarized electromagnetic waves.
